PLEASE READ THESE CAREFULLY AND IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS CONTACT US FOR FURTHER INFORMATION *

1. Any vehicles brought onto the premises are at the risk of the owner/driver

2. Please use a secure carrier to transport your cat to and from the cattery, and ask if you require assistance

3.. The owner accepts and agrees that whilst every care and attention is given to your fur babies during their stay with us, they are accepted by Cherry Tree Cattery at the owner’s risk. Also, belongings (such as toys, blankets, beds, leads, collars, feeding bottles, bowls, carriers and cages) are also left at the owner’s risk.

Whilst we have insurance to cover up to £2000 per cat per stay it must be made clear that the business is not liable for any fees where there has been no negligence on the part of the cattery.

4. It is the responsibility of the owner to inform Cherry Tree Cattery of any known illnesses or injuries at time of admittance to the Cattery. Should you fail to disclose an existing illness/injury we reserve the right to make an additional charge incurred as a result.

If your cat is on medication, please bring this in either the original packaging or a clearly marked container. It is your responsibility to ensure enough medication is provided (allowing for unforeseen delays).

We reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat on arrival if they appear unfit to board for any reason.

5. Should your cat require veterinary attention during their stay with us we will make every effort to consult with your own vet. However, if the need is urgent, if your vet is an unreasonable distance away, if they do not offer a 24hr out of hours service, or for any other unforeseeable reason we reserve the right to consult our own veterinary practice. Charges for veterinary consultation & treatment not covered by our insurance will be passed to the owner.

6. It is a licensing requirement that all cats boarded are vaccinated against Feline Parvovirus (feline infectious enteritis), feline paneleukopenia, and feline respiratory viruses (feline herpesvirus & feline Calicivirus). You must produce a vaccination certificate valid for the duration of the stay for each and every cat at time of arrival at the Cattery. Your cat(s) will not be admitted to the premises without proof of valid and current vaccination. The vaccination card will be retained by the Cattery for the duration of your pet(s) stay. If the vaccinations are incomplete and/or not valid for the duration of the booking all deposits will be forfeit and balance of charges due in full.

7. We ask that all cats are treated for fleas and worms before boarding.

8. Details of an emergency contact must be provided. They must be able to collect your cat immediately if we require them to do so at any time for any reason. Collars are left on cats at owners own risk.

9. When a booking is made, and dates agreed by both parties this will become a minimum charge based on current boarding rates. If the owner wishes to drop off their cat(s) at a later date or collect their cat(s) before the agreed date ie shorten the stay, they may do so but will remain liable to pay boarding fees for the dates as agreed. The length of stay may be increased at additional charge subject to suitable pens being available. Our rates are daily, and any part day will be charged at the daily rate (ie first and last day will be chargeable in full regardless of time of drop off/pick up).

We require a non-refundable/non-transferable deposit of £30 per cat per stay or full payment (whichever is lower) to confirm your cats stay. The booking will not be confirmed until the deposit is received.

10. We are unable to guarantee a specific allocated pen for your pet whilst staying at the cattery and reserve the right to re-allocate the specific pen(s) allocated for your pet at the time of booking. Likewise, we reserve the right to move your pet(s) to different pens during period of boarding with us.

11. If a booking is cancelled with less than 14 days notice the full fee for the agreed stay will be payable.

12. While we will be as flexible as possible on timings for drop off/pick up we would refer you to our opening hours. These hours are designed to give as much opportunity as possible to our customers to plan a suitable time during the day for drop off/pick up. They allow us to carry out our duties to clean, feed, interact with our boarders and enable us to retain an element of quality personal time. Should you wish to drop off/pick up outside of these hours it will be strictly by appointment only. We reserve the right to charge an additional £20.00 out of hours fee for any out of hours appointment per drop off/pick up. We will advise of the cost when agreeing to an out of hours appointment.

13. We provide a variety of popular brands of cat food but if you prefer to bring your own, there will be no reduction in the boarding fee. All prescription food must be provided by you.

14. We currently accept payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer only. We DO NOT accept card payments.

15. Please check all information is correct when your booking is confirmed as we cannot always correct errors at busy times.

16. If any animal is left for seven days beyond the booked departure date without contact from the owner or a representative the animal will be deemed abandoned. We will then follow the procedure to re-homed or relocate the animal to a rescue center. All boarding fees and other costs up until the time the animal is re-housed will remain the responsibility of the owner.

17. We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions at any time
